PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Wood-framed building five plants in the district of Gracia, the highest of its kind in Barcelona. It is a detached house, 346 square meters, which will be completed within six months.
The innovative timber frame housing is integrated seamlessly into the central and popular area of Barcelona, optimizing the space available, a plot of 75 square meters between walls. The property consists of ground floor, mezzanine, first floor, second floor and passable cover. Five-storey wooden structure complying with the rules of the Technical Building Code.
The building has an “A” rating for energy efficiency, which reflects the considerable savings in energy to heat in winter or cool it in summer. Housing incorporate a system of air renewal with energy recovery high efficiency, enabling ventilate the house without opening the windows; and aerotermia for ACS (domestic hot water).
As insulation, reinforcing the high performance of the timber, one of the most insulating building materials there, recycled cellulose (insufflated) and wood fiber (panel) is used. In addition, on forging a layer of plywood with self-leveling anhydrite (gypsum plaster) with the aim of providing greater thermal inertia and sound insulation in the floors will be added. According to estimates, it is estimated that the average monthly expenditure on heating, cooling and hot water is 62 euros.
